Continuing support Black Jaguar Foundation

Corporate Logo - Jan Zandbergen | Innovation that matters

Since the start-up phase of the Black Jaguar Foundation, Jan Zandbergen Group has been a proud sponsor partner of this organization. This month we once again extended our partnership with Black Jaguar Foundation (BJF) for a further 2 years.

BJF is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the realization of the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor, in the heart of Brazil. This ambitious project is one of the largest reforestation projects in South America.

As we support the Black Jaguar Foundation’s reforestation work in Brazil, we are also making innovative changes within our own business, while taking sustainability into account. For example, in addition to plant-based meat substitutes, we have also developed plant-based fish alternatives and we have added a second LNG truck (20% less CO2 emissions) to our fleet. We want to further reduce our CO2 footprint and that is why we are constantly looking for ways to save resources in our processes.
