This is greatly appreciated by restaurant owners, supermarkets, and private label owners. Additionally, the products are sustainably produced in collaboration with our sister company Diviande. The assortment varies from burgers, sausages, and minced products to strips, nuggets, and schnitzels. Under our brand PLNT, we also offer plant-based sauces with our meat alternatives, and even complete Ready Meals. Future Food Group provides an extensive range of products that cater to the needs of diverse markets, allowing each customer to make the right choice from our wide selection. Jan Zandbergen is also the exclusive EU distributor for Moving Mountains Foods.
In addition to plant-based products, Jan Zandbergen, together with its subsidiary Future Food Group, is also a pioneer in organic meat substitutes. Under our brand The Veggie Lovers and private label, we offer vegetarian, organic alternatives. The production of these alternatives solely uses local, organic ingredients. The soybeans are sustainably grown in Austria without any deforestation. Moreover, the farmers employ techniques such as air pressure and water to extract proteins from soybeans, without the use of chemical pesticides. The products contain egg white protein, using only eggs from chickens that had plenty of living space and received high-quality feed. Why are we a frontrunner? We are one of the few in the organic industry that has perfected the “binding” of these products, making them less dry and significantly more flavorful. We are proud of that.
Jan Zandbergen offers an extensive range of hybrid meat products, under the brand FiftyFifty or private label. These products combine meat with plant-based ingredients or vegetables, making them more sustainable and healthier than traditional meat products. The concept of FiftyFifty emerged from the desire to contribute to a better world and a healthier lifestyle. By combining meat with vegetables, not only is less meat consumed, but also less land, water, and energy are used. This results in lower CO2 emissions and a reduced environmental impact. The hybrid meat products of FiftyFifty are of high quality and flavorful. They are available in various options, such as burgers, minced meat, sausages, and schnitzels. Thanks to the combination of meat and vegetables, the products have a unique texture and taste that will appeal to both meat lovers and flexitarians. For private label client Kipster, we won an innovation award for the development of hybrid chicken strips: meat combined with plant-based ingredients.
