Corporate Logo - Jan Zandbergen | Innovation that matters

From May 31st till June 2nd 2016 Jan Zandbergen World-Wide Quality in Meat underwent its BRC audit. The latest BRC Issue (7) showed many changes in requirements. These changes address the present concerns in the food industry such as food fraud and product recalls. The excellent result of the audit is that Jan Zandbergen WWQM again received BRC Grade A now for BRC Global Standard Food Safety Issue 7.

BRC Issue 7 allows to opt for additional voluntary modules. Jan Zandbergen WWQM has opted within Food Safety for the module ‘Trader’ because of our trade business. This module will also be mentioned on the certificate.

EXTRA SECTION CERTIFIED

Jan Zandbergen WWQM also made an addition to its BRC certification during this audit. The BRC certification previously only applied to Food Safety, or production and repack activities. Jan Zandbergen WWQM wanted all its activities, including storage and distribution to be certified. The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is very well known and highly respected and therefore an excellent choice to also audit storage and distribution. Jan Zandbergen WWQM did the necessary research and implemented changes which resulted in BRC grade A certification for Storage & Distribution. Customers worldwide can be assured that Jan Zandbergen WWQM controls its corporate processes and that food safety is guaranteed.
