We are proud to announce that Charrua has undergone a true metamorphosis. It is not just a new look, but a complete makeover! Charrua has a new, fresh identity that perfectly matches the quality of our brand.
Charrua is our premium meat brand from Uruguay, known for its high-quality grain-fed beef since 2012. The brand has a rich story going back to traditional Uruguayan ranches, where cattle are raised in a natural and sustainable environment.
Our new gold-coloured logo has the look and feel of a seal of quality, stamping the high quality of the brand. Prominently featured is the image of the gaucho, the South American version of the cowboy, closely watching the large herd grazing freely on the vast pampas. The three stars under the brand name refer to the three cattle breeds Charrua works exclusively with. The payoff emphasises what our brand stands for: high-quality Uruguayan grain-fed beef.
At House of Charrua, we only work with Hereford, Angus and Wagyu cattle, three of the most prestigious breeds in the world. These three lines are the common thread running through the range. For the new packaging, we opted for a modern, uniform look, although each line has its own distinct colour to highlight its identity: Brown for Hereford, blue for Angus and red for Wagyu. The fresh design ensures that the packaging stands out well on the shelves at wholesalers, exuding the class befitting Charrua. We subtly visualised the five main characteristics of each line with icons in the top right-hand corner of the front of the box.
Inside the box, each cut is individually vacuum-packed in a transparent skin packaging with an inner label – featuring the new graphic style, so that even the smallest details are in line with our new design.
‘Compliments like ‘modern and hip’, ‘unique’ and ‘absolute class’ are terms we get feedback on when our relations first face the new packaging.’
Needless to say, we also incorporated this beautiful makeover into our website charruabeef.com. With beautiful photography, explanations of the three different lines in the range and, last but not least, which cuts we supply from stock. We tell you what our brand stands for – with the benefits for you, our customer. The new brochure is also available for download.
With this new fresh style, we want to inspire chefs and encourage them to choose the best grain-fed beef from Uruguay themselves, so they can offer their customers an excellent experience that they will love to come back for.
